Wishing for what occured in the past is...unwise, to say the least. Times change, friends change, people change, and you have to change along with it. You might not find the same amount of love and attention in the place that you once did, but it doesn't mean that you're lacking any whatsoever. It's still there, even if from different sources, in different methods.

It's okay, in the end, because you still have people who love you. You just have to learn to recognize it fully and stop dwelling on what once was and will not be no more. There's no hope left in the past. Only the future. Don't dwell on what you thought once was. It'll be okay now, somehow.

Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I'm 21 now! Legally drinking and finally able to do things in the city at night, fuck yes. I've been so excited about this day forever. It's gone by too quickly... I can't believe there's only an hour left of the day. It feels like the day just started. I blame being at school for eight hours. Oh well. I've still got awesome celebratory funtimes on Saturday.

It's alright, ultimately, you know?
