Takes place in between AW1 and American Nightmare, shortly after The Signal DLC. I joked as I played it that I'd write 50 words of Alan getting tortured every time something stupid happened or I died to something stupid. Many stupid things happened. I died to many stupid things. I was being generous with my final count of about 400 and wasn't gonna actually write it but then I did. And couldn't stop.

Scratch is kinda in the middle of forming himself leading up to AWAN. idfk. I've read ten thousand interpretations and theories about this series and still don't know what the fuck is going on at any point. Just roll with it.

I swear to god if they have Ryg show up somehow I will flip. Not in a good way. (I do not trust Squenix with their in-game characterizations of minor characters, because LOL PLOT DEVICE)

Though I'll probably end up getting this game on opening day anyway, because I'm a goddamn consumer whore.

Part of me wants to write some sort of epic, post-game Cid/Rygdea fanfic. The problem is, any idea I have seems to be too similar to the summary to another fic I saw. I mean, okay, there's really only a single deus-ex machina that allows me to even do a post-game fanfic, so it's not like I have much of a choice... But still.

Aaaaaargh. What am I going to do. I don't want to be accused of ripping off, even if I never read the other fic.
