SnowFairyTifa: I just got back from a DDR tourney.
SnowFairyTifa: Lemme tell ya about it

SnowFairyTifa: tourney was supposed to start at 3pm
ManxoChu: tourney or invitational?
SnowFairyTifa: "judges" were stuck in the midtown tunnel
SnowFairyTifa: tourney
ManxoChu: LOL
SnowFairyTifa: so at 5
SnowFairyTifa: *4
SnowFairyTifa: we got fed up, and Glenn (my pal who was a judge at the last tourney) asks to be the judge, and the owner of NYDS agrees
SnowFairyTifa: so the tourney starts
SnowFairyTifa: there were two divisions, A and B
SnowFairyTifa: In A, you had two basic songs and one trick
SnowFairyTifa: B, 2 SSR songs
SnowFairyTifa: so I was in A
ManxoChu: I see
SnowFairyTifa: Eventually I got up and went
SnowFairyTifa: First song would be a korean song chosen by the judge
SnowFairyTifa: so he randomly picks a korean song
ManxoChu: I bet the pressure was on... ^_^
SnowFairyTifa: I freestyle and dance, get a B on it
SnowFairyTifa: some guys a few feet away 'da-da'ed the FF7 victory theme. LMAO
SnowFairyTifa: Cause I had my Tifa costume on
ManxoChu: LOL
SnowFairyTifa: It was funny. Next song was also picked by judge. Turned out to be Dynamite Rave, one of my fav songs
SnowFairyTifa: so I boogie to it LOL
SnowFairyTifa: Again I get a B
ManxoChu: did you also replicate Tifa's cleavage? LOL
SnowFairyTifa: Up to now, tho, nobody was freestyling!
SnowFairyTifa: LMAO no
SnowFairyTifa: so I felt I had a chance w/ my costume and my l33t freestyling XD
SnowFairyTifa: Then I picked a song on trick
SnowFairyTifa: I picked Mr Wonderful
SnowFairyTifa: I failed it =( BUT
SnowFairyTifa: I freestyled AWESOME to it
SnowFairyTifa: I mean AWESOME
SnowFairyTifa: I didn't know I had it in me

SnowFairyTifa: Then I watch more routines. I figure I'll get maybe 3rd place (there's 6 trophies to be given out in A division, 1st to 6th place)

SnowFairyTifa: ok ok
SnowFairyTifa: there was this one guy...he picked the song Do It All Night
SnowFairyTifa: a few seconds into the song

SnowFairyTifa: he throws off his shirt and pants (he was now in boxers and an under-tanktop)
SnowFairyTifa: I was like "ROTFLMAO AHHHHHH"

ManxoChu: *calls security*
SnowFairyTifa: I figured SOMEONE had to do a stripping DDR routine sooner or later
SnowFairyTifa: LOL
SnowFairyTifa: it's already been done a lot in cali

SnowFairyTifa: then at the end he threw a little packet onto the floor. I was afraid to see what it was, but I had an idea LMAO

SnowFairyTifa: LOL

SnowFairyTifa: so he/she (o.o I couldn't tell, he had a ninja-like mask on LOL) walked onto the DDR stage....I yelled out "ninjas use swords!" and some people who knew what I meant laughed XD XD

SnowFairyTifa: so we just hang out while they tallied up the scores and everything
SnowFairyTifa: LOL
SnowFairyTifa: then they announce the winners.
ManxoChu: how'd you do?
SnowFairyTifa: 6th place...5th...4th...3rd....by then I was getting nervous
ManxoChu: *drumroll*
SnowFairyTifa: because I knew since I failed a song I prolly wouldn't get pass 3rd
SnowFairyTifa: 2nd....
SnowFairyTifa: And then they call 1st.
