BAAF today ROCKED. Here's a little report.

I wake up at 6:45am. I'm so excited I can't go back to sleep. So I get up and go to the computer...go to some websites, read some fanfics...I change into a good outfit to wear...put some blue highlights in my hair...Kelly/Miaka comes over...we play DDR for a bit, then head on the train to BAAF.
We eventually get to Park Central Hotel and meet Randy outside of it. First stop: Registration and Dealers Room. $30 for registration. We get little bracelet thingies and a bag full of free stuff. Then we go to the Dealers Room.
God. It's anime heaven. TONS of anime stuff. I bought a Miaka pin, a Slayers CD, and a Fushigi Yuugi wallscroll. I took a bunch of pics of cosplaying people. And I saw.....PSYCHO YO YO BOY!!! Suboshi! I took a piccy of him (he even had the weapons, LOL) then we headed back upstairs.
I joke to Kelly that I wanted to see a Chichiri cosplayer.
We turn the corner.
I see someone cosplaying as Chichiri.
"CHICHIRI!!! CAN I GET A PICTURE OF YOU?!?!"
It was so funny, LOL. It was a very good costume (bangs weren't sticking up tho, LOL)...got a piccy. =D
Then we went to Virgin Megastore, a music store, to get Ikuhara (I dunno his first (last?) name...)'s autograph...the dude who directs Utena and Sailor Moon.
We're on line when the guy behind us goes "....that's him...." pointing to a guy looking at DVDs not too far away. It was him. Randy, Miaka, and I sneaked over there, pretending to look at the DVDs. WE STOOD NEXT TO IKUHARA! WAHAHAHAHA!
I got a Utena poster and my SMR movie autographed =D
On our way back, we stopped at a Lazer Park place and played a game of DDR. We scared the crowd cause we r0x0red so much, LMAO.
Then we went back to Park Central Hotel. We saw three eppys of Gundam 0083, very very good. We got out and decided to go to the Dealers Room before Utena.
Big mistake.
We get back and there's a HELLA long line. Eventually we're allowed in. We're JUST about to enter, at the front of the line, when they stop us and say "It's filled at it's maximum capacity. Sorry."
Shit.
Oh well. We walk off and decide to see Love Hina.
Guess it was a GOOD mistake to go to the Dealers Room.
LOVE HINA ROCKED. It was HILARIOUS.
After that, we left the hotel and ate at Subway. Then we went to the Directors Guild of America Theater. It was about 20 minutes till the cosplay contest. We get good seats and see that they're passing time by having anime karaoke and trivia and stuff. It was funny. Then I saw Chichiri and Subboshi and think "THEY BETTER BE IN THE COSPLAY CONTEST!!!"
The cosplay contest was AWESOME!!!! So many funny skits (there was this Kenshin one with this char singing the lumberjack song from Monty Python, I believe....TOO FUNNY)....Chichiri and Suboshi did have a lil skit! Forgot what they said though >< But the scary thing was, the guy who cosplayed as Chichiri...HE HAD THE EXACT SAME VOICE AS CHICHIRI!! Scaaaaaaary. And I remember Suboshi, in the skit, saying "I'm Suboshi, and yes, I do make out with my brother." I was about to fall off the chair laughing, LOL.
After the awards were given out they had extra prizes so the announcer asked the audience who they think should get the prizes. Course, I scream "CHICHIRI!!!!!!!!!!!!" but someone else got it x_x Ah well. I got a few more pictures of Chichiri.
Then we went back to the hotel again and went to the dubbing workshop. It rooooooocked. There were some voice actors/actresses there...we tried dubbing some Slayers stuff, it was funny. I WANTED TO BE LINA! BUT THE STUPID GIRL IN FRONT OF ME GOT TO BE HER, BAHHHHH!
Then we went home. I took 78 pictures in all. XD!!!
I'll scan the pics when I get them developed (prolly on Monday). ^_^V
