Omg *faint*
Saw Les Mis again. 5th time. I also went yesterday...both times, I had front row seats. Center orchestra. Amazing.
So. The show was great. A few bloopers here and there which were amusing, like a candlestick falling out of Valjean's bag when the bishop was singing to him. Sadly no slashy moment between Enjy and R this time, but yesterday there was, so that made up for it. Dave Hugo, the normal R, wasn't there, so I was sad but oh well. Randy Glass is a pretty good Grantaire. Terrance Mann wasn't there as well, so David McDonald, who usually plays Combeferre, played Javert. And he was AMAZING. I like him much better than Terrance Mann.
So yes, show was great. Christopher Mark Peterson (Enjolras) looked at me during the end when they were onstage bowing, and I'm thinking "OMG EEEE". My dad and I exit the theater when it's all over, and I beg him to stay by the stage door to get autographs. First Diana...I don't know her last name...came out. Eponine. I got her autograph. Was going to mention to her that Eponine was my dream role, but forgot to. Stupid me. Anyway. Then saw Marius...Kevin Kern, I believe? Got his autograph. Then David McDonald! Told him he was wonderful, my dad said that he was our favorite Javert, and David laughed and said "Well you have good taste!". Hahaha. Then...CMP. Omfg. I almost fainted. He signed my playbill first, and I'm blushing and staring and I said "You. are. AMAZING. You're my favorite Enjolras." (ph33r my CORRECT PRONOUNCIATION OF THE NAME!) And he smiled at me, then mentioned something about coming to other shows. I pointed out that I had been there yesterday. He went "Oh yes, you were in the front row! I saw you during the end, all smiling and stuff." And I almost fainted. HE REMEMBERED ME. So I laughed, and then said goodbye. Then proceeded to prance off.
Wow. Next time I'm speaking to him more. Just, wow. My Enjolras, my demi-god! I feel like a hyper girly version of Grantaire right now.
