So 1:10pm Mike calls me and is like DUDE KATE HAS AN EXTRA TICKET. So I'm like WHAT?! Cause I'm still in my pajamas and everything. So I throw on clothes, brush my teeth and hair, and run the hell out. The trains were running HORRIBLY today so I got off at 49th st at like 10 to 2. DASHED to 44th St, picked up my ticket at the box office, and ran into the theater. Made it in like a minute before curtain.
Dude. A crapload of people were out. Including Hugh ;_; But his understudy was alright. John was there, so I was happy ^.^ Nearly squee'd when I saw him onstage. I miss the old Carlotta =\ What else..hm. The monkey music box wasn't working at the beginning. Well, it was, but there was no sound. It was just....silent. A couple of seconds of uncomfortable silence later, it finally started. We were cracking up XD The show today was pretty meh...nothing too spectacular. It just seemed...not as good as it could have been, and this being the 17th time I've seen it, I know. Kate and I made a bunch of slashy jokes at intermission, then in Act II, proceeded to TOTALLY crack up at the graveyard scene ("DON'T STOOOOOP, DON'T STOOOOP!"). My GOD that whole exchange there is kinky. Hahaha. Anyway. Rest of show good good. We ran to the stage door afterwards and saw John and I like pounced on him XD He didn't stick around long but I was happy to talk to him. What else...hm. Got Julie Hanson's autograph, and the guy who played Erik today. David...I forgot his last name. He is a hilarious guy. Seriously. He's just cool liek whut. Afterwards, we got some pizza, and then headed our seperate ways...Luisa, Mike, Luisa's friend, and I went to Grand Central and took the LIRR (seperate trains though ;_; whores). Mike and I got back here to Forest Hills in like 10 minutes. CRAZY YO. O_O Came back here, did the Snake/Otacon handshake with him, then ran up here to my apartment.
