Jan. 29th, 2005 08:05 amPhantomfans.net really annoys me. It's bad enough dealing with the horrid OH MY GOD ERIK IS SEXY fangirls. It's bad enough dealing with the RAOUL IS A STUPID FOP WHO NEEDS TO DIE people. Put people who go nuts because oh my god I write an alternate pairing into that equation as well, and it's almost enough to drive you nuts.
What really does hurt me is that one of the people who insulted me was a guy who I had nice conversations with a long time ago on the forum. Even /about/ slash! He liked my story! Sometimes, I just don't get people.
I'm being stupid and angsty, I know. But, whatever. I need to rant.
And screw them, I'll write as much damn Erik/Raoul as I want.
ERIK/CHRISTINE IS NOT THE ONLY BLOODY PAIRING OF THE FANDOM. Just because someone writes another pairing doesn't mean they're destroying Leroux's story or whatever the crap they come up with. FANFICTION. It's called fanFICTION. ::twitch::
