Jul. 4th, 2005 11:38 pmIt's official, I've just seen the STRANGEST yet most amusing Xenosaga fanart ever. ::snort::
Anyway. I saw "Bewitched" today with Mike. It was pretty good, and amusing to see Chenoweth in it, too... Oh yeah. On the way into the theater, Mike and I had one of our ubernerd moments. We're walking through one of the theater hallways, and at one point, to our left was a poster for a movie called "Zathura". Both of us, at the same time, did a double take as we passed it, thinking we each read "Zarathustra". We then proceeded to look at each other with knowing glances and dissolve into laughter. "Did you---" "Yeah, it's--" "Just like--"...ah, we have no lives.
After the movie, we stopped by Gamestop, nerded there for a bit, left when we smelled burning rubber.. Walked around Austin St., where I got a shirt for my Rubedo summer style outfit. On our way to Ariana's to eat, we noticed fire trucks outside of Gamestop. Nothing in the store itself..let's just hope nothing in the back burned. We finally got to Ariana's, ate pasta, then came back to my house where I showed him an episode of Sukisyo. He left, and I've just been jamming here since.
About 70% done with my Rubedo summer style shirt. The purple cross is painted on, I just need to do the white border and the darker purple (even though it's technically black, I'm taking liberties) lines inside. Then it's off to the mall to get lime green pants...and then I need to find some orange ribbon. Hoo boy. Might have to go to Jamaica for that. Oh yeah, zippers, too.
Speaking of Rubedo. I got reddish highlights a few days ago. Except they're nowhere near the color I wanted ;_; They're more auburn than anything (This sounds exactly like the wig problem I had a few months ago), but whatever.
I need to get a job. There's so much stuff I want to buy. Three FMA DVDs, last two DVDs of Gravitation, FMA pocketwatch.. And I still very much want to get a JP PS2 and some imported games. Mainly DDRs. I need to get a new computer as well, which I should hopefully be getting soon, if my dad ever decides to remember he promised me one XD
Aw, damnit. And there's also Otakon to save up for. I still don't know how the hell I'm getting there...and then there's the hotel rooms to pay for...hoo boy. No roommates (other than Tadas) to split the cost with, either. o.x And then there's my ALBEL COSTUME. Argh! I still don't know how I'm gonna do the armor. Maybe I'll just scrap the thing and suffer in the heat as Rubedo. Also, mental note: Look into possible Xenosaga panel..
