Jul. 31st, 2005 07:32 pmWell, it was a pretty entertaining past two days. Filled to the brim with FMA. I mean. Everything revolved around it. XD
Mike and I went to the mall yesterday, where I proceeded to spend nearly every cent I had on me. Purchases included a half-naked figurine of Ed, RE4 for Mike (really really belated b-day present), a pink (yes, pink) FMA t-shirt, an Ed keychain, and five packs of FMA trading cards (none of which had the card I wanted, peh). Got home, then went to pick up Luisa at the train station. We stopped by Hurricane so I could get some of those plastic sheets to hold the cards in, and I got a Shonen Jump for free. Whee. Read an article on FMA in a magazine there, and then we came back to my house. She pressured me into reading the FMA movie summary, so I did, and proceeded to have a bitchfest for the next hour or so XD The majority of the night was spent watching the first 13 episodes of...yes, FMA. Luisa really seemed to like it, so I was ecstatic. Much fun was had, including laughing at the one piano song played two or three times per episode, and Roy's ever-changing rank in the dub (Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND). This morning we sat around, I showed her some of the FMA game (including the great "if only your security were as tight as your ass..." line). She left around 3pm.
I haven't been doing much since. Played some HM:MFoMT, and I'm also RPing with Tadas. Even though he is horrendously slow.
