Aug. 13th, 2005 12:08 pmNngh. Well, yesterday went well. I met up with Dan, Joe, and Mike (the other Mike!) at Molloy, and then we hopped on the F train to the city. Lazer Park was out first stop. We didn't actually play lazer tag, just a few arcade games. It was there that some kid helping Joe with a Fist of the North Star game overheard us mentioning that we were gonna go to an anime shop and decided to invite himself along. He wasn't THAT annoying at first, but what the hell kid, we don't WANT YOU THERE. Not to mention he couldn't get his bloody FMA facts right.
Kinokuniya was the next stop. I feel so dumb. I saw the 2006 FMA calendar, which I was gonna pick up, but I completely blanked out and forgot to get it. We roamed there for a good hour, had a chat with a girl about all things anime, then left. We decided we would next go to Image Anime, which was 20 blocks away but oh well. We walked it. Nice store, good variety of stuff. I bought myself movie!Ed and Roy plushies for $25 each. I forgot to get the keychains I wanted though, pfft. And that Flame Alchemist umbrella I saw on the site XDD
From there, we wanted to go by Anime Castle's warehouse, but while on the 7 train we realized that we weren't gonna make it there before closing time, so we switched plans (and trains) and went to Queens Center Mall. I finally found the L'arc~en~Ciel concert DVD there, which I promptly bought. Went to Hot Topic, almost bought a FMA hat, but I don't think I look good in baseball caps. At all. XD That, and it was $20. Ouch. Roamed some more, ate at the food court, went to Sam Goody, came home.
Luisa's coming over today (woohoo!), so we'll watch season 2 of FMA (14-25), and...I dunno, do stuff. Gonna have to think of something so we're not sitting here bored all day/night. Maybe we'll hop by Blockbuster and rent a movie or two.

So WHO ON MY FRIENDS LIST IS GOING TO OTAKON?
