This entire weekend has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but still, it was the best weekend of my life.
The breakfast was an overwhelming success. Vic is...well, amazing, reallly. The cafe had great food, the room we were in was spiffy and comfy... And the conversations during breakfast were the best. ...Vic totally WINS at life for the voicemail he left on Travis' phone. Ed's true feelings, mmhmm.. XDD But yeah. It was great.
After we got back to the hotel, I changed into my Miniskirt!Ed costume. I got a "Your costume is awesome!" paper strip from one of the staff members when I was wandering the dealer's room. Sadly, I didn't get the two more needed to get a ribbon. Oh well. So I wasted a shazload of money in the dealer's room..I'll recap what I bought tomorrow. Then was the FMA panel, which was great. Even though several of Vic's anecdotes we had just heard hours earlier at breakfast. XD Oh, quote of the day from that. "You want to hear a movie spoiler? ...Colonel Mustang is GAY." Vic=INSTANT WIN.
We decided it was too late to get into the Vic and Steve Blum panel, so we went to eat lunch... And then after that, was an impromptu FMA photoshoot with a bunch of other cosplayers. We spent an hour outside, then an hour inside, doing crazy poses and being blinded by camera flashes. All and all, a great time, and the greatest photoshoot ever had. Ever. When it gets to the point where we have a Homunculi vs. State Alchemist West Side Story style battle, you know it's good. And of course, our "Molest the Mustang!" pose. Pictures will be uploaded later.
A couple of us FMA people decided to go to the pool afterwards, whereupon Matt (who was Roy) and I proceeded to defeat Sarah (who was Pride!Ed) and an Envy (whose name I still don't know) in a swimming battle...bwahahaha! Then..well, let's skip ahead a few hours to the rave. Met up with Matt, Sarah, Joe (her boyfriend), and Envy there. Joe (my friend XD) and Mary Ann met us there, and much dancing was had. It was an enormous amount of fun, though I could have had the chance to dance a little more than I did.. ::snaps:: Oh well. Next time. XD We left the rave around 1:30am and then hung in Matt, Sarah, and Joe's room for about an hour and a half. By the time I got to bed, it was 3:30am.
This morning, not too much happened. Got Vic's autograph again, said bye to him for now...Picked up a few more stuff at the dealer's room. Sadly said goodbye to my new friends, who I hope I will see again soon...
There's so much to do now. Gotta go through LJ, send out several e-mails, compile pictures, go through forums and websites, talk to people... I'm never gonna get a chance to unpack tonight. Srsly.
If I forgot any details, I'll brush up on them tomorrow.
