Mar. 15th, 2007 10:52 pmI'm completely broke after today, but I'd have to say it was worth it. The computer broke down in the morning, but it's running again now, so...let's hope it doesn't break again. Mike, Tadas, Syd, Joe, and I headed off to karaoke...got there around 2:30, maybe. The place is closing in a week or so. Ugh. Gotta find out other locations. ._____. By the end of karaoke (which was filled with...Tadas yelling MUDKIPS every five seconds, then singing I Feel Pretty in a Hyde voice...), we wound up /each/ singing Confrontation. So, that song was sung five times. Yeah. I'm liking how I'm singing it, though I didn't have a hairtie so my hair was in my face the whole time while I was Hyde...oh well. XD
Though everyone else had no money (as bloody usual), I was insistant that we go to the Jekyll & Hyde Club. I needed the entertainment after all the crap I was going through today, so we went. I wound up paying $80 when I should have only paid $30, but oh well... It was worth it. We got put in a corner table so there wasn't much interaction with the actors, but what can you do. The food was good, the atmosphere was cool, the actors were pretty funny in a very cheesy way. And we had an amazing waiter, so that helped. He was a little O_o; when Sydney and I started giggling about how we loved Hyde. Yeah. Near the end, one of the actors, a doctor who spoke in a nasally voice and looked eerily like Alton Brown, came over and started chatting with us... Sydney mentioned the J&H musical, and the guy launches into This is the Moment. We're just laughing hysterically and clapping/cheering. Then him and I get into a discussion about the show and David Hasselhoff. Which was cool.
I want to go back there sometime soon, but it's expensive...the burger, just the burger, was $14. Ouch. Still, if I have money to burn, I'm definitely going back.
