Yesterday was an amazing Valentine's Day in advance. After having to go to some lame bridal shower, I left to meet up with Mike in the city. His family was staying at a hotel somewhere midtown since there's some convention or other going on that they're part of, so I met him there, went up, whereupon we exchanged gifts.

I got him a card and some Russel Stover chocolates since I'm practically poor at the moment. He gets me, re: chocolates, like. Champagne truffles. WAY TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A DICK, MAN.

However, the other gift was A+++.

Actually, first, the card. He gives me one card to start with. And...well, let this video speak for itself.

I don't even. Then he gave me the chocolates and the other present and the real card. I opened the card, saw that it had a wall of text of writing (very sweet writing though ♥ ), closed it, looked at him, and went tl;dr. I'm an awesome girlfriend. No, I did read the card though after XD And loved it. Then he gives me the other gift.

Which...well, just watch/look.

Win. Absolute win. After that, we headed out, got a bite to eat, then went through Central Park. He got hit by a guy on a sled who was practically homing in on him, fell one and a half times while walking... And then--hey, it's time for another video!

Sledding is fun! Crashing into people is even more fun! )

We watched people sledding and crashing for a while, then I showed him the front of Fordham. Headed down to Times Square to meet his brother, his dad, and his dad's girlfriend for a drink at ESPN Zone, then was off to eat at some place called China Grill, which was made of complete deliciousness.

Suffice to say, best Valentine's Day evar, even if it was a day early. Now I spend the real holiday at home playing Mass Effect 2!
