Mar. 11th, 2010 02:49 pmOh, man. You know what? I'm happy. Happier than I've been in a while. This past week or so has really been wonderful, and I'm feeling great, and it's just...awesome. Really awesome. Ever since last Friday and seeing Muse, it's been almost nonstop win aside from a few road bumps. Saturday was...uhhh what was Saturday. Nothing really. Sunday was the family party, Monday had the ridiculous TV comedy test but oh well, hung out with Torben and Kerstin afterwards, Tuesday was a great night out, yesterday was lounging and gaming, and today...will be more lounging and gaming!
Tomorrow, going to get a haircut and get my highlights back into proper order now that I have hair dye again. Saturday is Samantha's wedding, and thanks to her kindness and a stroke of luck, Mike's able to come with me as a guest. So I can see him for a day before his h0r ass leaves me to go to Aruba for the entire break. :| Next week should be some win and funtimes, too. Joe's party is on Tuesday, St. Patricks' Day is Wednesday (need to talk to Joe and Mark and plan something for that!), and Joe and I are going to have a Buffy marathon day (possibly complete with Buffy drinking game) one of the other days.
...man, Joe. For the last month and a half, we've hung out about ten or twenty times more than we've hung out in the previous two years. :3 at having my friend back.
Haha, I'm sorry for rambling so much, guys, or if I seem patronizing by being all "WHOOO look at how happy I am!". I'm just...really hyperactive and in a great mood and feel like rambling about it. It's not often that things fall into place like this, and it isn't going to last forever, so I'm going to enjoy it while I can.
I guess I'll look around the house for a dress for Saturday, take a shower, then play some FFXIII. I like the battle system for the most part, except for where if you aren't paying 110% attention, you can die easily later on in the game. That and sometimes I accidently hit the button for paradigm shift when I mean to do something else. God, I get attacked while I'm shifting damn paradigms, I get attacked while trying to use a potion, the monsters NEVER LET UP FOR A SECOND fffjashdas. Most of the characters kind of bore me (except for...Sazh? Is that his name? And the chocobo chick omg so cute), and it's so far linear to the point where playing feels like a chore. There aren't any town to make up for the monotony of dungeon grinding, which is essentially going in a straight line. With some curves. And maybe a itty bitty path off to the side with an item. I hope it gets better.
