Eye exam and contact buying will cost a ridiculous amount too, due to my insurance sucking. And I still need to figure out the shoes. I'm sure as hell not dishing out another $50+ for custom shoes, so I'll just find myself a pair of high-top converses and if they aren't the right color, sharpie them up. Won't have the straps on the shoes but who the hell cares.
I would have definitely preferred to shell out this sort of ridiculous money on a Cid costume, but...yeah. Don't have the height for that. I also wish I could cosplay Rygdea but. Don't know how to make armor and it'd probably be a pretty expensive commission due to that. Damn my favorite characters and their cool but complicated outfits. And height.
