Okay. This is my first article that I actually kind of like. Third article total. First article I actually knew something about what I was writing about, so it was a lot easier and a lot more fun to write, haha.
Ffft okay I need to get started on this next article. I'm not going to be able to write anything while I'm at Otakon (maybe one tomorrow on the bus if I have wifi, though?) so I don't want to miss a day; wrote two articles yesterday, even.
I'm not incredibly happy with my articles yet, I've yet to develop a good voice and they definitely lack the personality and humor (aside from this one story) that all the other news pieces have, but I hope it's something I can develop over time. An article every day ought to keep me on my toes.
...shit, man. I'm a journalist. \o/ Just graduated with a BS in psychology and now I'm back to journalism, it still amuses me so much.
OKAY YEAH I should really write this article now already. I'm technically a morning news writer. It's 11:40am. >_>; I've been bouncing around in a good mood for an hour now about this whole thing. ...god, I can't think of an intro that isn't copying another really recent news piece fffjlkashdajsd ::ponders:: It's always the first sentence that gets me. Always. Fanfics, essays, articles. Damn you, introductions.
