In other news!

Still waiting on my Luceti app. Ffff. BUT THE AWESOME NEWS is that Alric apped there! \o/ He's going to eventually join TnT, too. I can't wait to finally RP with him again. It almost makes me wish I could still play Allelujah and Hallelujah, but I swore I'd never play them in a public RP again.

Tomorrow, a couple of us are going to play pitch and putt or whatever at Flushing Meadows. AKA I have only ever played mini golf before so I'm in for some fun. Knowing me, I'll hit myself in the face with a golf club.

I haven't really listened to this song in a while, but damn, how I love it. It really is beautiful. The combination of the music and the pure emotion Bono puts into the vocals (which of course is pretty much expected, considering that the song is about his father) is something that's always set this song above others for me. You can hear the desperation there, even regret, building itself throughout the song...and it's just reallly powerful.

I wonder if they still do this song at concerts? I'll ask Joe when I see him in a half hour, since he's a walking U2 encyclopedia, haha.

Speaking of seeing Joe, I should start getting ready. Gotta leave in like 20 minutes now. For the first time ever, train construction is actually working to my favor, as the 7 train's going to be skipping a few stops on the way to my destination. \o/ Shorter trip, whoo!

And now I'm listening to Kite. What is with me and depressing U2 songs today? ...God, I wish this song didn't have that stupid as fuck last verse. Ruins an otherwise amazing song. And right, I should get going now.
