La de dah...what a day...
Jan. 30th, 2001 04:02 pmI'm kinda in a crappy mood. Why, you ask? Well, if you got indirectly called stupid by a teacher, you'd feel crappy too. Today we had a stupid Social Studies quiz. It was on a section in the chapter. I totally messed up since I didn't know these words that were only talked about for one sentence would be what the test was made of. Well, the last question, I didn't remember what the word was. Here is the exact dialouge.
Teacher: This question is so easy, it's stupid!
Me: ::raises hand:: Uhhh...so if we don't know the answer, we're stupid?
Teacher: Well, since I gave a hint (note: yea right...), yeah, you'd have to be pretty stupid to not figure it out.
Oh, that makes me feel REALLY good, doesn't it?! I whispered to Minako after the test that I felt VERY insulted. She said she did too, since she forgot the answer (but then again, she forgot to study ^^;;;). I told her, well, I guess I must be stupid!!! The teacher heard me say that. She then faced me after class and said why I was whispering to Minako those stuff, and that I should be "woman" enough to tell her. Yeahhhhhh right. Last time I told a teacher I felt insulted, I got yelled at. So it's like, if I don't tell, I get in trouble. If I do tell, I still get in trouble. What the hell am I supposed to do?! And PROGRESS REPORTS are on Friday! So my Social Studies grade is seriously screwed! This is really messed up. My teacher is so mean, she expects everyone in the class to be in a High School level in college. She gives us hard stuff, and we ask why it's so hard. She says "Oh, you're going to have this kind of stuff in High School!" BUT WE'RE NOT FREAKING IN HIGH SCHOOL! WE'RE IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL! YEESH!!! My teacher can REALLY get on my neves sometimes. Like, I wrote a play that my class was performing a while ago. I had to do a lotta stuff with the props, etc, since the people backstage were fooling around. We had to see if there was a piano backstage. I voluteered to check, and she scolded me for "doing all the work". Then she goes to the class, "Who here thinks Dana is doing all the work?" I'm thinking like, WTF?! She freaking embarrased me in front of the entire class! >.< Oh well...I guess I'll end this journal entry. See ya later, minna.
