Vacation over, school's started again. Le sigh. Oh well. It's pretty easy anyway, and we're watching an interesting movie in Intro to Film called Midnight Cowboy. Gogo male prostitution ("I think I wrote a fanfic like this once...").
Oh. Just got a new computer. Named it Alphonse. I'll take some pics of it soon...it's very, very shiny. Got a new PC sound system, too...Logitech speakers. Five of 'em. Gogo.
I also got my prom dress last week...okay, so the store was like the Payless of dress stores, but hey, for $70 you can't go wrong. It's a very pretty dress as well...bright red, just the color I wanted (I love how the second I tell Tadas the color he has to tell me not to dye my hair blonde for prom...and Joe, upon seeing me try it on, goes "...maybe you should wear your wig with that"). Now I just need to get shoes and some kind of bag to keep my stuff in. And maybe a little jewlery...something cheap though. I've still gotta reserve the karaoke thing (...it might be a good idea to actually GO to the place...hm, anyone interested in some karaoke Saturday night? Place opens up at 6pm, it's in the city) and tell the limo company the info on that. At least most everything seems to be working, which makes me happy in regards to that.
I've fallen in love with a Coldplay song. "The Scientist". It's so pretty, and the lyrics are just beautiful. ...and it totally reminds me of Ed >_> I'd love to make a RoyEd AMV to it, but it's a very long song, and I'll probably be using all possible RoyEd footage in my Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own AMV... Bah. Well, we'll see. I still need to watch the movie so I can use footage from it, as much as its ending upsets me... Ah well... Emma said there's quite a few RoyEd hints in it, so maybe that'll at least be my consolation. Well, with the total RoyRiza and EdWinry direction the manga has been going (c'mooon whatever happened to ambiguousness on pairings? =\), I'm glad us RoyEd fans still have the anime, as flawed as can get at points. But that's another rant for another time. Goddamn, if the anime ended differently, it'd be perfect... but. Anyway. XDD
Advent Children supposably comes out tomorrow. ::dances:: Can't wait to actually own it on DVD. I wonder what the extras will be like. Oh yeah..mental note, make sure to bug Doc about scheduling the screening for it next week. ...and I still need to finish working out Anime Boston costs for everyone. Whoo.
I'm gonna save a Roxas costume for Otakon. No time or money to do it before Anime Boston. I'll just reprise my Ed costume. Though I really am tempted to go a miniskirt route...but I need an automail leg. Anyone have any suggestions on something I could throw together?
Threepenny Opera on Saturday with Lu-chan. I have no idea what it's about, but I heard it was good, so, y'know. ...jeez, I barely see musicals anymore. Once my anime obsession got completely rekindled with FMA, I've been buying so much anime stuff..and video game stuff, as well...no money left for Broadway. But I do need to start saving up for the Les Mis revival. Gonna have to see that one as many times as I possibly can.
...alright, screw this, I'm gonna see what I can do about an AMV to The Scientist. Maybe throw at least half a minute together to start.
