Aug. 5th, 2007 10:34 amYeah, screw you, BBC America. They completely massacred Jekyll. The episodes (or at least the first) were sped up, scenes chopped up, scenes cut out, censored, etcetc. I mean, really, a rather important scene (that was in the /previews/!) was cut from the first episode, which just...baffles my mind. Oh well. I'm going to try to snag it on DVD if I can, and burn the episodes I downloaded for the one or two friends of mine who actually want to watch it too. Because the broadcast here is just terrible.
I do so love Hyde in that show. I'm definitely getting some inspirations for Cosmas...I needed to make him a little more unique, seperate from Damien, and this Hyde is giving me some interesting ideas. We'll see how that pans out, if the damn RP ever continues. Yay for one other person posting. When I ask them to. Out of what, ten people. Cheer.
Simpsons movie later with a bunch of Molloy friends...here's to hoping nothing randomly explodes.

List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself
1. I'm not antisocial, really. I just have no patience for stupid people or for drama, so I tend to not want to hang out with certain people or groups. Unfortunately, it seems to be that no other people/groups want to hang out with me. Hm.
2. Under the cute, sweet facade, lies a psychopath obsessed with murder. ...Alright, that's overdramatic. But I have a daaaark mind. I very much enjoy writing/RPing things like murder, rape, kicking puppies, etc. Which is why I'm going to have a field day writing Cosmas.
3. Nothing is sacred enough for me to not gay it up in some fashion. Or impossible enough. And I have no squicks. Incest? Bring it on. Huge age differences? Yes, Colonel Mustang. They spend the entire show hating each other and wanting to kill each other? Got a nine chaptered fic about that (so far). They share the same body/are technically the same person? I'm still pissed that someone took my Hyde-raping-Jekyll idea before I got the chance to write it. Self rapeage ftw.
4. I have a weakness for glass bottles, candles, and antiques, but I'm currently attributing that to my Damien and Cosmas side(s). I try not to walk into any antique stores, though, 'else I wind up walking out $25 less with a random little bottle I have no actual use for. But at least it's pretty.
5. Speaking of which, I get very influenced by the character I'm currently RPing. I sometimes think in their mindset, do things they'd do, etc before I catch myself. But don't worry, I'm not going to go around killing people now that I'm playing Cosmas...(I'll only think about it *wink*).
6. Nothing is better to me than RPing and LARPing, because my life is so horrifically stupid and boring I'm desperate to live anyone else's.
7. I would totally do Edward Hyde, if it didn't mean I'd probably get my throat slit/eaten/etc, not neccessarily in that order. At least, the BBC show version. The musical version too. But not Hasselhoff. He stopped being hot after Knight Rider.
